Pondok Halimun is a plantation and mountain-air area north of Sukabumi, on the lower slopes toward Mount Pangrango. It is a gentle stop rather than a major sight: tea fields, cool breezes, small cafes, and views back toward the city.
It works well as part of the same northern loop as Situ Gunung, especially if you want a quieter pause after the bridge and waterfall.
