Arborek Village is a small island community in Raja Ampat that has become a regular stop for travelers moving between homestays, snorkel sites, and Piaynemo. The village itself is compact and walkable, with sandy paths, woven handicrafts, and a jetty that often has more marine life beneath it than many formal snorkel stops elsewhere.
It is no longer a secret, so do not arrive expecting solitude in peak periods. The better way to enjoy Arborek is to slow down: stay overnight if you can, swim near the jetty when conditions are calm, and remember that this is a lived-in village rather than a resort set built for visitors.
