Nightlife in Tanjung Pinang is low-key. Most evenings revolve around the waterfront food stalls or hotel bars rather than clubs. The Santai Lounge at the Comfort Hotel & Resort is a decent spot for a cocktail, and the Panorama Hotel has a rooftop cafe with views over the harbour.
For something livelier, you will need to head to the resort strip on Bintan's north coast. La Luna Beach Club has an open-air bar and disco right on the sand, open Friday through Sunday. The Bintan Lagoon Resort has Silk, a proper nightclub with a younger crowd, and a karaoke lounge.
