Qazvin is easy to reach from Tehran. Trains take a little under three hours when schedules line up, and buses and shared taxis run frequently from the capital's western terminals. The city also sits on the main road and rail corridor toward Zanjan and Tabriz, so it works well as a stop between Tehran and northwestern Iran.
