Getting There

Beit Shean sits at a crossroads in the Jordan Valley, about 30 km south of the Sea of Galilee and 35 km from Nazareth.

By bus: Egged and Kavim buses connect Beit Shean to Tiberias, Afula, Haifa, and Tel Aviv. From Tel Aviv the journey takes about two hours via Afula; from Tiberias, around 40 minutes. The bus station is centrally located within walking distance of the national park entrance.

By car: The most flexible option for reaching outlying sites like Gan HaShlosha and the Mosaic of Rehob. Route 90 runs north-south through the Jordan Valley; Route 71 connects Beit Shean westward toward Afula and Nazareth. Parking is available at the national park.

By train: A railway station (Beit She'an–David Levy) serves the town, with connections to Haifa via the Jezreel Valley line.
