Beit Shean's draw is almost entirely archaeological, and that is no bad thing. The Roman lower city and the ancient tel together form one of the most complete and impressive ancient sites in Israel. A few kilometres away, Gan HaShlosha offers a complete change of pace — natural springs, shade, and cool water.
