Israel Aquarium is Jerusalem's major aquarium and the country's only one outside Eilat. Its exhibits focus on aquatic life from Israel's seas, lakes, and streams, making it a good family stop that also adds context to the region's very different water habitats.
Tickets are usually sold for timed entry, and the aquarium is near the zoo rather than in the city centre. Allow time for the bus ride or a short walk from nearby transit.
