The country's national museum, in West Jerusalem. Home to the Shrine of the Book — the Dead Sea Scrolls, housed in a white dome shaped like the lid of a scroll jar — and the giant Model of Jerusalem as it was in AD 66. Archaeology, fine art and Judaica rooms are all first-rate.
