Mount Herzl is Israel's national cemetery and a major memorial site on the western side of Jerusalem. Theodor Herzl is buried here, as are several Israeli prime ministers, including Yitzhak Rabin. The Herzl Museum stands near the entrance plaza, and the wider grounds include memorials to terror victims and missing soldiers.
