Sultan's Pool is a large historic reservoir just below the Old City walls, near Yemin Moshe and the Hinnom Valley. It likely dates back to the Herodian period and was rebuilt or altered in later centuries.
The basin is now dry and often used for concerts and large events, but its scale and position make it a good short stop when walking between the Old City, Mount Zion, and Yemin Moshe.
