Tsukasa is one of Kōchi's most respected restaurants for Tosa cuisine, an established place that attracts locals as well as visitors. The focus is on the classic dishes: katsuo no tataki (bonito seared over straw fire, served with ginger, garlic, and ponzu), river fish, tosa jiro chicken, and the local sawachi presentation style — a large lacquer platter shared between the table. The restaurant is in central Kōchi, close to the Obiyamachi arcade.
Dinner runs from around ¥4,000–7,000 per person with drinks; a more affordable lunch set is available on weekdays. Booking ahead is recommended for dinner, especially on weekends.
