Late spring to early autumn is the easiest time to visit Pavlodar, when the riverfront is lively and walking is pleasant. June and September are especially comfortable.
Winter is severe, with deep cold and icy streets. It can be atmospheric if you are prepared, but this is not the season for casual wandering.
