Things to Do

Fraser's Hill runs at a pace that most hill stations in Southeast Asia have long forgotten. The main draws are birdwatching, walking through montane forest, and the specific pleasure of being cool enough to want a jacket in Malaysia. The colonial-era bungalows, the small golf course, and the general absence of anything aggressive to do or buy all contribute to an atmosphere that attracts a particular kind of visitor — one who is happy doing relatively little, and doing it well.
