Pantai Cenang has the widest selection — seafood grills, Malay rice dishes, Indian roti canai, and a handful of Western cafes for breakfast. Wonderland Food Store near the beach is a popular spot for local Malay dishes at low prices. In Kuah town, the evening hawker stalls near the ferry terminal serve good nasi lemak and grilled fish.
Langkawi's duty-free status means beer and wine are significantly cheaper than on the mainland. Most beach restaurants serve alcohol without difficulty.
