Lanang Bridge carries traffic across the river south of Sibu and matters more as infrastructure than as a conventional sight. Still, bridges tell you a lot in river country: what was once crossed by boat becomes a daily road link, and the geography of the town changes with it.
You are unlikely to make a special trip just for the bridge, but you may cross it on the way out of town. The scale of the water below is a reminder that Sibu's map is still written by rivers.
