The town is small enough to walk in a few minutes, but a rented bicycle (around $1 a day from any guesthouse) makes the surrounding countryside accessible. The lake itself is reached by boat — your guesthouse will set you up with a boatman for around $6 to $10 a day. Motorbike taxis hang around the main intersection for short trips up into the hills.
