Lahore is the country's main shopping city — a place to come for Punjabi handicrafts, traditional fabric, leather, and contemporary Pakistani fashion. The hubs:
Anarkali Bazaar — the historic commercial district, best for cotton fabric, glass bangles, and food. Old Anarkali is the food half, New Anarkali is jewellery and cloth.
Liberty Market (Gulberg) — Lahore's main bazaar for clothing, particularly bridal wear and Pakistani designer shalwar kameez. Hundreds of small shops; haggle expected.
M.M. Alam Road (Gulberg) — high-end Pakistani designer boutiques and lifestyle brands.
The Walled City bazaars — Kashmiri Bazaar, Akbari Mandi, and the lanes off the Wazir Khan Mosque for spices, dry goods, and traditional crafts.
Khussa (traditional slip-on leather shoes) are made in Lahore and are a good buy; the Mochi Gate area has the best selection.
