Khader Mohra, also known as Akhuri, is one of the quieter archaeological stops around Taxila. It does not have the immediate scale of Sirkap or Dharmarajika, but it belongs to the same extraordinary landscape of Buddhist monasteries, stupas, and ancient settlements scattered through the valley.
Its value is in context. Visiting a smaller site like this helps you understand Taxila as a network rather than a single ruin, and the sparse remains can be more atmospheric than the busier museum stops if you already have the main history in mind.
