Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Mactan Island is the main gateway, connected to Cebu City by two bridges — a taxi or Grab ride to the city centre takes 30–60 minutes depending on traffic. Direct international flights arrive from Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and several cities in the Middle East. Domestic flights connect Cebu to Manila (frequent, 1 hour), Davao, Iloilo, and most other Philippine cities.
Ferries from Manila (SuperFerry, 2GO Travel) dock at the Pier 1 and Pier 4 port complex in downtown Cebu after roughly 24 hours at sea. Fast ferries connect Cebu to Bohol (Tagbilaran, 2 hours), Leyte (Ormoc, 2.5 hours), and other Visayan islands.
