Altrove is a small open-air pizzeria run by an Italian family who imported their wood-fired oven and refuse to compromise on it. The dough is naturally fermented, the toppings minimal, and the resulting pizzas — the Margherita and the Nduja are reliable picks — are routinely cited as the best in the Philippines outside Manila.
There are usually only a dozen tables and it doesn't take reservations; expect to queue from about 6 p.m. onwards. They also serve fresh pastas. Open for dinner only, and closed one day a week — confirm before walking over.
