When to Go

The dry season (December to May) is the best time, with the Bangus Festival the obvious anchor in April. December and January are coolest, around 22-30°C; March to May edges into the high thirties and is humid. The rainy season runs June to November; Pangasinan sits on the path of the western Luzon typhoons and can see serious flooding in September and October.

Hotels are cheapest from June to August between the peaks. The seafood is fresh year-round; only the rough weather of typhoon season interrupts the catch.
