Alaminos, about an hour west, is the gateway to the Hundred Islands National Park — a cluster of 124 coral-limestone islets dotting Lingayen Gulf. Boat tours from Lucap Wharf are the standard way in.
Lingayen itself, 18 km west, has the historic Pangasinan provincial capitol and the long Lingayen Gulf landing beach where the US Sixth Army came ashore in January 1945. San Fabian to the east has cleaner stretches of coast for swimming.
