The barangay of Bangantalinga, just north of the Iba town centre, is where most of the beach resorts are concentrated. The grey-sand shoreline here is wide, clean, and largely undeveloped — no high-rise hotels, no crowds, and no vendors hassling swimmers. The South China Sea is calm for most of the dry season and the water runs clear enough to see the bottom at chest depth.
Most resorts along this stretch are small family operations offering day-use rates, cottage rentals, and simple meals. Coming on a weekday outside the Paynauen Festival period, you may have the beach almost to yourself.
