Getting There

Iba is about 200 km northwest of Manila, a journey of roughly 3.5 to 5 hours depending on traffic and the route taken.

By bus is the standard way. Several bus companies — including Genesis Transport and Five Star Bus — run air-conditioned coaches from Pasay's Cubao bus terminal district in Manila directly to Iba and beyond. Buses typically depart every hour or two throughout the day. The journey takes 4–5 hours depending on traffic leaving Manila. Fares are modest.

By car, the most direct route is via the Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) to Olongapo, then north along the MacArthur Highway (National Route 7) through the Zambales coast. This takes around 3.5–4 hours from central Manila in light traffic.

Iba Airport (ICAO: RPUI) exists on the western edge of town but has had no scheduled commercial service in many years. It is used for small private and charter flights only. All practical access is by road.
