Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA)

The Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA) is a dedicated contemporary art museum in the Megaworld Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao, opened in 2018. The museum holds rotating and permanent exhibitions of Philippine modern and contemporary art, with a strong emphasis on Visayan and Ilonggo artists alongside nationally recognised names. The collection includes works by National Artists for the Visual Arts, a designation that carries significant prestige in the Philippine cultural hierarchy.

The building was designed by Filipino architect Lor Calma and has a distinctive facade that contrasts with the surrounding commercial towers of the business park. The interior spaces are well-designed for both large-format paintings and sculpture, and the programming includes regular talks, workshops, and special exhibitions. For a city of Iloilo's size, the quality of the museum's facilities is impressive. Open Tuesday to Sunday; check current hours before visiting.
