The signature hike in Ella. The trail starts near the railway station and takes about two hours up through tea plantations and forest to the summit, which offers panoramic views over Ella Gap and the surrounding hills. The path is not always well marked — ask locally or follow other hikers. Best done early in the morning before the clouds roll in.
