A striking colonial-era railway viaduct set in deep jungle between Ella and Demodara stations. Built entirely of stone and brick without any steel, it dates from 1921. You can walk along the tracks to reach it — trains pass a few times a day, and watching one cross the bridge against the green hillside is one of Ella's most photographed moments. Get there early to avoid the crowds.
