A broad, multi-tiered waterfall right beside the Ella-Wellawaya road, about 6 km south of town. Named after the demon king Ravana from the Ramayana — local legend holds that he hid Princess Sita in a cave behind the falls. The pool at the base is popular for swimming. Most impressive during the rainy season when the water volume is at its peak.
