Checheng Fuan Temple

Checheng Fuan Temple is one of southern Taiwan's major temples dedicated to Tudigong, the Earth God. The complex is large and richly decorated, with the busy, incense-filled atmosphere typical of an active Taiwanese folk temple.

It is north of the main Kenting resort strip, so it works best as a stop when travelling between Kenting, Hengchun, and the west side of the peninsula. Pair it with Hengchun's old walls or the National Museum of Marine Biology area if you are exploring by car or scooter.
