Trang's coastline faces the Andaman Sea and offers long stretches of sand backed by casuarina trees, with limestone karsts rising offshore. The beaches are quieter than those in neighbouring Krabi, and several serve as jumping-off points for island-hopping trips to Ko Muk, Ko Kradan, and Ko Libong.
