The King Rama III Memorial stands in a landscaped square near Wat Ratchanatdaram and the Golden Mount. The bronze statue shows the king seated on a throne, with small pavilions, planting, and views toward the surrounding temple district.
It is a short stop rather than a destination by itself, but the square is pleasant in the evening and fits naturally into a walk through Banglamphu and Rattanakosin.
