Wat Khu Yang is an old temple in central Kamphaeng Phet, with a history reaching back to around 1600 and present buildings mostly from the 1850s. Its most distinctive feature is the ho trai, a wooden monastery library raised on stilts over a water ditch.
The ubosot is also worth a look, particularly near dusk when the coloured glass on the pediment catches the light.
