The restaurant at Chiang Dao Nest resort is good enough to visit even if you're not staying there. The menu covers Thai and Western dishes — brunch, pasta, salads, Thai curries — done well and with fresh ingredients from the garden. Prices are higher than town (150–200 THB per plate) but the setting, looking out toward the mountain, is hard to beat. Worth it for a proper sit-down meal.
