Khao Hin Lek Fai, often called Flintstone Hill in English, rises just west of Hua Hin and gives the easiest high view over the resort town. From the viewpoints you can trace the beach, railway line, golf course, and the flat sweep of the Gulf coast.
The hill is best early in the morning, when the heat is lower and the light comes from behind you. It is a short outing rather than a major hike, with landscaped areas and occasional monkeys around the top. Keep food out of sight and use it as a simple orientation point for Hua Hin.
