Getting There

By air. Denizli's airport is Çardak (DNZ), about 65 km east of the city on the road to Burdur. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus fly several times a day from Istanbul, and there are seasonal flights from a handful of European cities timed to the Pamukkale tour market. Airport shuttles meet most flights and run to the otogar in town (about an hour).

By bus. The Denizli otogar is one of the busiest in southwestern Turkey, with frequent buses to Izmir (3.5–4 hours), Antalya (4 hours), Bodrum (5 hours), Marmaris, Konya, and Istanbul (overnight, 10 hours). Kâmil Koç, Pamukkale, and Metro all serve the city. From the otogar a dedicated dolmuş runs every 15–20 minutes up to Pamukkale village.

By train. Denizli's restored station has a daily İzmir Mavi Tren service to and from Izmir Basmane (about 5 hours), which is slower than the bus but cheaper and more comfortable.
