Denizli is primarily a base for the surrounding region rather than a destination in its own right. The big draws are the white travertines of Pamukkale, the ancient cities of Hierapolis and Laodicea immediately around the city, and Aphrodisias an hour and a half to the west. The city centre has only a couple of modest attractions of its own, but you will probably pass through Bayramyeri Square on the way in and out.
