The nearest airport is Dalaman (DLM), about 50 km west. In summer there are direct charter flights from many European cities; year-round there are connections via Istanbul. Airport shuttle buses and private transfers run to Fethiye — the journey takes about an hour.
Long-distance buses connect Fethiye to Istanbul (12 hours), Izmir (5 hours), Antalya (3.5 hours), and other Turkish cities. Buses arrive at the otogar on the edge of town, from where dolmuş minibuses run to the centre.
If you are driving, Fethiye is on the D400 coastal highway, well-connected to Muğla, Antalya, and the rest of the Turquoise Coast.
