The Basilica Baths are part of the ancient spa city of Hierapolis, where thermal water shaped both daily life and religious imagination. The ruins are less immediately famous than the theatre or travertines, but they help explain why this city grew where it did.
Look for them as part of a broader Hierapolis walk rather than as a separate ticket-box attraction. Together with the necropolis, theatre, and pools, they fill in the Roman side of Pamukkale's story.
