The Hierapolis Archaeology Museum occupies a section of the restored 2nd-century AD thermal baths inside the site. The vaulted brick chambers — caldarium, frigidarium, the gymnasium — make a striking exhibition space in their own right.
The collection covers finds from Hierapolis and the surrounding Lycus valley: sarcophagi with high-relief mythological scenes, statues of the city's patron deities, jewellery, glass, and a long display of inscriptions. Smaller rooms cover the early Christian period and the nearby city of Laodicea. Allow an hour.
