Saadiyat Public Beach

The long stretch of white sand on the eastern side of Saadiyat, open to the public for a modest entry fee. The water is shallow and calm, the sand fine enough to be soft underfoot, and the dunes behind are protected nesting ground for hawksbill turtles between March and June.

Cabanas, sun loungers, and an attached café make it more comfortable than the central Corniche beach. Less crowded; harder to reach without a car. Combine with a visit to the Louvre for a long Saadiyat day.
