June to September is brutally hot and humid, with temperatures regularly exceeding 40°C; sightseeing becomes an exercise in moving between air-conditioned spaces.
The Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix takes place in late November at Yas Marina Circuit, making this the busiest and most expensive time to visit. Ramadan (dates shift each year) brings a different atmosphere: restaurants are closed during daylight hours but many venues open late into the night.
