Five glass towers, completed in 2011, that define the western end of the Corniche skyline. The tallest stands 305 m and houses the Observation Deck at 300, on the 74th floor of Tower 2 — currently the highest public viewpoint in the city. You buy a ticket that includes either a drink or afternoon tea in the lounge.
The view is the reason: Saadiyat to the north, the Grand Mosque catching the light to the south, the whole T-shape of the island laid out beneath. Tower 3 was the location used for the Etihad penthouse scenes in Fast & Furious 7; you can spot the apartment from the deck below.
