Heritage Village

A reconstructed traditional village on the breakwater at the western end of the Corniche, run by the Emirates Heritage Club. It is part open-air museum, part craft workshop: a Bedouin tent, a falaj irrigation channel, a souk of small workshops where potters, weavers, and metalsmiths do their work in front of you.

The view back across the bay to the Corniche skyline is one of the better photo angles in the city. Entry is free. Closed Mondays. Most useful in the cooler months — there is shade but no air conditioning in most of the buildings.
