The Abdullah Khan Madrasah is one of the smaller madrassas of Itchan Kala, built in 1865 in memory of a young son of Muhammad Rahim Khan. The building is single-storey, with a modest courtyard surrounded by twelve student cells and a small lecture hall. The tilework on the portal is restrained but elegant.
Today the cells are used by craft stalls and a small ethnographic display covering Khorezmi domestic life. Easy to combine with the Allakuli Khan Madrasah immediately across the street.
