Ruc Mon Cave is one of the newer cave trips in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang area, with a long underground system and entrances near the Laos border. It is far less familiar than Paradise Cave or Phong Nha Cave, which is part of the appeal.
Access is by guided trip rather than a casual walk-up visit. Treat it as an adventure outing and check current access before building a day around it.
