Tisa's is the only bar in Alega — and the right one. Cold Vailima (the Samoan lager brewed across the water in independent Samoa) is served from a counter built from salvaged timber, and you drink it on a bench looking out over the reef channel. The atmosphere is unhurried. Tisa Fa'amuli and her family have run this place for decades, and it has the comfortable feel of somewhere that belongs exactly where it is.
Hours are loose; the bar typically opens mid-morning and closes when the last guests leave. Closed Sundays, in line with fa'a Samoa custom.
