The Bogey Hole

The Bogey Hole is a convict-cut ocean pool at the foot of King Edward Park. Hewn into the coastal rock, it is one of Newcastle's most distinctive seaside landmarks and a memorable place for a dip when conditions are safe.

The pool is exposed to ocean swell, so check the water before entering. Even without swimming, the rocky setting and nearby park make it an easy coastal stop.
