The Goods Line

Short elevated urban park on a former freight rail corridor beside UTS and the Powerhouse Museum.

The Goods Line is a short urban park built on a disused freight rail corridor that once linked the Darling Harbour port area with the main rail lines near Central. It is Sydney's small answer to New York's High Line: part walkway, part student hangout, part skate spot.

The walk also brings you beside the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at the University of Technology Sydney, Frank Gehry's crumpled-brick landmark. Combine it with the Powerhouse Museum or a wander through Chinatown.
