Cremorne Reserve wraps around the harbour edge near Cremorne Point, with open views back toward the Sydney skyline, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. It is a quieter alternative to the main postcard viewpoints, especially late in the day.
The reserve works best as a short harbour walk or sunset picnic stop. Arrive by ferry if you can; the approach from the water is part of the pleasure.
