Arkaroola is remote even by South Australian standards. The usual approach is through Copley and then along the unsealed Gammon Ranges Road. The alternative from Blinman is scenic but rough after the sealed road ends.
Road conditions matter here. Check locally before setting out, avoid travel after rain, and carry water, fuel margin, and at least one good spare tyre. A capable 4WD gives far more freedom once you arrive.
